After the huge success of the 3rd Western Power Distribution Derby Mile road race on Sunday 25th November, the Race Organisers are excited to announce new plans for next year’s event, taking place on Sunday 17th November 2019.

The iconic Derby Arena will be the new host venue for next year’s race, providing a brilliant new start and finish as well as a brand new Race Village. The amended route will still take in the beautiful grounds of Elvaston Castle Country Park and the course remains flat and fast, providing the potential for a personal best.

To mark this occasion race organisers are offering, for a limited time only, the chance to enter at a special discounted rate up until midnight on Friday 30th November. Included in the entry fee is a technical finishers’ t-shirt and bespoke medal. Entries are open now at www.derby10.co.uk/enter2019

The event is proud to support Annabel’s Angels as its official charity again for 2019.

Richard Kay, Race Director, said “we are thrilled to announce our plans for 2019 and are certain that the new venue and start and finish will provide runners with a unique and exciting running experience in Derby. We would like to thank Derby County Football Club for their support with the event to date, and we’d like to welcome our colleagues at Derby City Council and Derby Arena – our new partners for the event going forward”.
